I need a dollar, dollar

Happy Movember!

A few things:
1. I sincerely apologize for the unbelievably late entry - won't even bother trying to explain myself.
2. I am officially addicted to Architecture In Tokyo, and just simply can't get enough of them.
3. I have an unsurmountable respect for dog-owners that walk their own dogs.
4. Fervidly shrunk my "friends" list - I really am running out of fucks so it just had to be done (lol)
5. Discovered cocoa pili nuts. Enough said.
6. There should be a special place in hell for greedy people and animal abusers.
7. Gogglebox might just be the absolute best show on earth - right after FRIENDS, of course.
8. "What do you hope to express by saying 'I didn't like this show'? It's not that easy to judge things."
9. Personality overhaul: what to say, when to say, and when to not.
10. A big, juicy, creative life of imagination and radical silliness is all I'm after.

"Don't be upset by the result you didn't get with the work you didn't do."

Until the next entry.

With love,

Finally.

Welcome to my blog. Or, at least I hope, my final attempt at it. I've long been longing to revive my blogging, and after a long and exhausting battle with procrastination, I'm inspired. So while I am inspired, I hope to inspire you as well, to give my blog a chance.

The past couple of years haven't been the easiest, and they really don't get any easier, but I can honestly say life has become better. And for the first time I feel real - the good kind of real - and I owe it all to my treacherous journey for peace that started last September, over a family ordeal.

My superb state of mind I owe to my family, my friends... who have surrounded me with nothing but the most positive of energies every single minute of every single day. It's beyond magical to realize that the people around you are people who push you in the right direction regardless of how hard you push against them.

"A flower does not think of competing with the flower next to it. It just blooms."

I've recently learned of a beautiful way to live, and I admit, I'm sure if I learned this a few years earlier, it would've spared me a whole shitload of trouble, but nevertheless, better late than never. "For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others..." I figured that if my habits are based on my actions, which are based on my words, which are ultimately based on my thoughts, then my thoughts are the first thing I have to change. It's easier said than done, I don't doubt that, but I'm sure as hell gonna try.

"Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage."

Insecurities have become an inevitable part of "being human".. particularly because sometimes we all forget how to be human. Harsh events and bitterness, all because someone gets selfish and proud, and always at someone else's expense. I can't emphasize treacherous enough - it's taken me copious trials just to realize that we've all been through shit and we've all got our stories to tell, so we should just respect each other for that.

Strength, courage and happiness are about learning how to love without limits, without fear of rejection or betrayal.. The danger of being hurt will always be there, but fear only consumes you.

Best piece of advice I'll ever give you: When someone does you wrong, it says a lot about them--not you.

And so I'll leave it at that. I sincerely hope you stay tuned for my future entries which will feature a little less of my ramblings and a little more of lifestyle, culture and food tidbits.. I guarantee they won't disappoint :) Get back to you all soon.

With love,

Sage.
